− 45min checking in due to new system staff not properly trained no manager in sight all in back office. One young man on desk very condescending to female staff and to quests. Restaurant staff on Saturday and Sunday morning extremely lazy tables not cleared on not wipped down. Air con not working. This time our stay was not very pleasant at all. Think it needs a kick up the pants
Extortionate price for basic accommodation, and poor food too!

− Ridiculously hot room - no attempt had been made to keep sun out in a heatwave when we checked in they told us our room will be hot! and just a pitiful fan. Restaurant lacked any atmosphere. Limited menu, had run out of steak at 7.30 on. Saturday despite restaurant having only two other diners! We knew the price of the room when booking due to Goodwood Festival of Speed being on that weekend BUT for £250 per night had expected something better than a basic room, no aircon, no bottled water or fridge - nothing better than a Premier Inn - although even they have air con! And disappointingly poor pub grub. They are just profiteering with a 150% mark up!! Especially as it’s a 30min drive to Goodwood so not particularly close! Would not stay here again.

− Upstairs very tired and in need of decorating/modernisation. Dusty and windows needed a clean. Damp in the bathroom which was a shame as the shower looked quite new. Hiked prices due to Goodwood

10.0Perfect location for us after arriving on the ferry from Santander, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the accommodation was very clean,comfortable and good value for money so we will be definitely be back on our return trip to Spain.

Great location for Festival of Speed - great staff and great big room!
10.0Super friendly staff and a lovely room with a great firm bed. The shower is amazing! Was an early leaver for Goodwood Festival of Speed so couldn't make breakfast, so they did us a packed lunch instead!
