I had a lovely stay here! I am a female solo traveller and I felt very safe in the neighborhood and the owner was so friendly! I had a night bus planned on the day I was checking out and he let me use my room for the entire day up until my bus left, which was very nice! The bed was amazing, the shower had the best water pressure i’ve had in South-America and everything was very clean!

− The breakfast could have a little more variety, but it was fine!

The manager Ernesto is one of the best hosts I’ve had and I have had about 100 bookings. Helpful and attentive. Shares his knowledge about La Paz and Bolivia. Comfortable rooms. Nice area amongst other countries Embassies.

− Nothing I did not like. Located away from the city centre. But there is a Teleférico station (cable car) nearby. There a 10 lines long and short. I loved it - no traffic!

Alles super. Top Lage, ruhige Lage, schöner Garten. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Tolle Zimmer. Das Frühstück hat alles was man braucht. Absolut toll!

Très bon accueil avec un verre et de nombreuses informations sur le quartier. Les chambres donnent sur un jardin à l'arrière de la maison qui protège du bruit de la rue. Les chambres sont faites tous les jours. Notre avion partant au milieu de la nuit nous avons pu profiter des lieux jusqu'à tard en soirée. Le quartier est très sûr avec beaucoup de restaurants, proche du téléphérique.

The location is good and the staff is good.

− We booked two rooms. One double room and one single room. The double room is all good but the single room is way too worse: not very clean, super cold without electric heater( I asked and then they gave it too me) and there was a spider in the bathroom. The price of the two rooms were almost the same but experience was totally different.

A wonderful host who feels like family in a great location

Ernesto, the owner, was so wonderful and accommodating! He arranged for a taxi to pick me up at the airport when I arrived at 3:30. That was such a comfort! He would walk me outside to help me catch a taxi and verify the price I would pay. He even drove me up the street away and dropped me off at the restaurant when I was so tired. We definitely went out of his way to help me. As an older Woman traveling alone, he was such a comfort! His property was the Home of his parents that they converted into rooms to rent. The front house still has all of his parents belongings and photographs etc. Even though it’s located on a really busy street, the rooms are in back of the Main part of the house located around the lovely Garden. The noise does not get to that part of the property So it’s quiet. The house is located on the same street as the American Embassy, the British Embassy, the Brazilian Embassy so you could see that it’s a nice area! The blue line of the cable car is just a short walk up the hill. To go to the nearby mall and Restaurants up the street , it takes about 10 minutes but it is a Walk uphill. It’s a gradual slope but at that altitude it is definitely more work. The breakfast was fantastic with eggs cooked to order, fruit, fresh bread, and Coffee freshly made with a little espresso pot. The room itself is simple but Roomie.
