9.0Very comfortable bed and bathroom . The evening meal was very cooked, pies wonderful.
− Cycle to the top of the hill . My chowder was disappointing. Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for breakfast was very filling
Fabulous Find
10.0Fantastic inn with great en-suite accommodation and easy access for exploring Northumberland or Durham. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh cooked to order and kept us going for the whole day. Fresh water and tea/coffee facilities in the room were very welcome and the view was fantastic! The towels were large and soft and the bathrobes wrapped you up in cozy comfort. The restaurant menu was extensive, again with huge portions, and very reasonably priced. The homemade pie and fish and chips were particularly good! We will definitely be back when we next visit family in the area and for exploring more of the wonderful countryside.

9.0Het was een heel rustige Inn met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Het eten (breakfast en dinner) was heel lekker. Aanrader om als uitvalsbasis te gebruiken om rips te doen of gewoon als een stopplaats om naar Schotland te gaan.
