Great hosts, great food great beer.
9.0Great breakfast cooked to order and we were lucky enough to arrive on a food special night which they hold monthly on a Wednesday. Brilliant.

8.0Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Friendly greetings and soon felt at home. Food was good pub grub well cooked. The surrounding countryside is amazing and we haven't seen so many swifts for years!! Comfortable bed and everything was very clean.
− Step down into the bathroom could be a problem for some but no problem for us.
One of a few locations to stay the night.
8.0We are on a bicycle. This motel had a safe place to park our bicycle outside. For us the motel was at the right location when we needed to finish for the evening. The staff was excellent and the restaurant provided a great meal.
− Check in was a little late but there is a wonderful old church next door that was a joy to explore.

Lovely stay. Authentic community pub
9.0Lovely community owned pub. Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 day stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful country location. Great beer. Good quality pub food prepared in kitchen with Pubs chef. Had private car park around back of pub to park motorbike for guests only but this is a very small quite village. Unlikely that motorcycle theft is a major issue. During the week pub does not open until 18:00 but pub was happy to provide a key should be return early as it’s not staffed up to that time. Nice breakfast. Cosy pub atmosphere which was exactly what we were looking for.
− Nothing specifically was bad. Mattel’s could have been more comfortable. Would give out hefty spring noises every now and then
