Useful hotel for an overnight stopover
8.0Lovely, warm amd friendly staff. The garden was great to sit out in for evening drinks. This is a very old fashioned and well-run hotel.l, with comfortable beds and decent bed linen.
− There is quite a bit of road noise heard from the garden, but didn't hear it at all from our room at the back of the hotel. The bathroom could do with updating, nearly slipped on the tiles after I'd soaked the floor from the telephone shower in the bath - I'm not used to those anymore! The food was ok but unexciting.

8.0Lovely old building with a beautiful outside area. The ladies who own / run it are lovely and very helpful.
− We were on motorbikes and the car park is thick gravel, so not ideal. The room was quite small and dark and very hot.
