Poor service Sunday lunch
4.0Came to have Sunday lunch and to start it was ok. Waitress could have smiled. We ordered Sunday lunch it came not much on the plate. No one came to ask if our meal was ok or if we would like another drink. Once we finished our meal we sat there for half and hour and I had to go up and ask if someone can take our plates and bring dessert menus. But I could speak to anyone straight away as the manager and the waiter was chatting at the bar. Sorry but the food was below average and service was even worse!
Perfect stay after attending a family funeral. Ben the manager was very attentive and offered advice as needed.

Just lacking decent beer
6.0This is a nice pub/restaurant with nice staff, nice rooms (so I am told) and serving good food. Its one drawback is that you can't get a decent pint as they don't keep any cask beer. I have eaten there on a couple of occasions as friends have stayed there while attending local events but would not do so normally as I want a decent pint if I go to a pub. What a pity!

10.0Stay here every year when going to the grand Prix always a warm welcome, lovely place , amazing food and the staff can't do enough for you.
