9.0The hotel, breakfast and the restaurant, the setting, view and the decor were all amazing as were the staff
− The room was a top floor room and quite hot, even at night - unfortunately, due to climate change, air conditioning may need to be installed at some point for use in the summer

− If I’m being picky I would say the bar could do with two people staffing it during busy periods.

9.0The room was lovely. We had the accessible room but I would have liked to have had a bath after our long walk to Whitby. It was great to have a fridge in the room so we could cool our water.

− The room was small. We booked a deluxe room expecting a small sofa with tv facing but instead the there was no sofa and the tv was on the wall above one side of the bed so not great for comfort.
