Surprisingly clean and comfortable accommodation.
8.0The hotel exceeded my expectations. I was looking for a decent rate for a stay before visiting North Berwick for the Scottish Open. I expected a run down motel. I was surprised by its cleanliness and comfort. It had obviously been well looked after. I would stay again.
− This was a no frills hotel. Tea and coffee making facilities the only facility in the room. But there was a local Spar for anything needed. Down the hill to the harbour/beach there were plenty of restaurants, pubs and shops. There wasn’t anything I particularly disliked.
Enjoyed it very much and staff were generally very pleasant but the bed spoiled it. I would go back.

− I booked a disabled room but the bed was a divan bed and was not suitable for using the hoist. The hotel needs to put a bed with legs in there. I would have given them a higher score if this had been the case.
