Our stay was deeply disappointing and fell far below the standard we expected from a hotel of this category and price.
3.0* Good location, particularly for access to the main clubs and Old Town. * Balcony with a nice sea view. * Breakfast buffet available until 12:00. * Pool area with in-water beds.
− * Room was inadequately cleaned on arrival: visible residue/dirt from previous guests remained in the bathroom, balcony and the glasses in the fridge still had toothpaste residue. * Cleaning complaint was handled poorly: the issue was not resolved promptly and required around three days and several conversations with reception and guest relations. We were even asked to point out the dirt to the cleaning manager. * Severe noise disturbance at night: poor sound insulation in the room and loud door slamming repeatedly woke us up, resulting in disturbed sleep every night. * Food quality was disappointing: although the breakfast buffet offered a large selection, many dishes, especially local specialties, didn’t taste well. * Inconsistent drinks: quality appeared to depend on the bartender preparing them. * Pool/sunbed issues: despite a policy against reserving sunbeds, guests were leaving towels/items on them, making it difficult to find available loungers.
