Very relaxed atmosphere landlord was superb and staff superb.Lovely location nice and quiet later on .Excellent quick walk with our chocolate Labrador.The pub itself looks magnificent and in a superb location

Food in restaurant was great. Looked that the rooms are separate from the main pub.

No fault of the property but the church bells ring throughout the night which disturbed our dog so something to bear in mind.

Lovely pub managed by the excellent and affable Ed, beautiful location, great room with a comfortable bed, wonderful food, very friendly and helpful staff, an exceptional whisky collection.

Good to know

Please note the pub is closed on Mondays and Tuesday, only open for accommodations purposes. There are venues less than a minute walk that are open and serving food Mondays and Tuesdays.

Please note we do not serve breakfast, there are three venues less than a minute walk in the village where you can get a lovely cooked breakfast should you wish to do so. We do provide small hampers in each room.

Please note that while we are pet friendly, pets are only allowed in the specified rooms highlighted in the room name.
