10.0Superb rural location. Gorgeous views & gardens. Quiet, peaceful, charming. Accommodation (hay barn) excellent, fully eqiupped & very comfortable. Breakfasts & restuarant top class. Hosts Sarah & Stephen very amiable & particularly accommodating to our wish for family & friends to visit & stay. Would wholeheartedly recommend a stay & we very much hope to return. All in all a 10 out of 10 from us.
A relaxing stay thoroughly enjoyed.
8.0A well appointed and comfortable cottage with a charming garden overlooking a secluded quiet valley. The gently heated pool was a real bonus as were the amazing breakfasts (which were provided in the adjoining hotel). All warmly hosted by Sarah and Steve.

Relaxing stay
10.0Outstanding views across the valley from inside our accommodation and places to sit outside. Pool was great, shallow but still able to swim. Welcoming hosts

10.0Prachtige plek, met uitzicht op de vallei en vogel- en schaapgeluiden op de achtergrond. Het eten was fantastisch. Gastheer en gastvrouw helemaal top!
We bought what we thought would be a relaxing country holiday but were ultimately disappointed.
5.0Lets start with the great things about the Granary cottage. Really comfortable bed Great shower Nice to have Smart TV’s. The bathroom and kitchen area both look new and the place is very clean. Views are spectacular and the gardens lovely. Steve and Sarah are both lovely people who go out of their way to deal with any problems
− Now for the downside The food, although very nice, was seriously overpriced at £55 for 3 courses and I was surprised to be charged extra for water as it was on the table. Although the Granary was self catering, it was attached to a hotel and I had expected the high price to include daily cleaning and linen/towel changes, especially as there was an addition of £75 cleaning fee at the outset, but it wasn’t. We did get fresh towels daily at reception. There is no freezer compartment in the provided fridge, although they did provide us with a plug in mini freezer on request. The sofas, although comfortable, were too low for us oldies. We realised the fridge broke down in the Granary on day 2 as the shopping we bought was warm. They suggested we use the fridge in the Stables cottage and move in there for the remainder of our holiday. The extractor in the bathroom in the Stables didn’t work and with no opening window, we just had to air out the whole place daily. For the 5 nights we stayed, there was only one other couple in the place and so the hoped for possible sociable evenings in the hotel bar were not to be.
The moment we arrived we were welcomed by Stephen and Sarah who are exceptional hosts, not forgetting Max and Benson thi
