2.0right outside the train station
− upon check in the whole room has strong smell of drainage. the water is very low and hot water is insufficient! i contacted the front desk and he couldn’t do anything at that time but i was told next day they could arrange for a room change. however, the next day the receptionist couldn’t arrange a new room bcs he said it was fully booked. i was so disappointed and i am still now with how the situation was being dealt. i paid for a lovely stay and the stay is just not comfortable at all even with all these issues!

− Fire alarm went off at 4.30am for ages, no member of staff came to tell us what was going on, (despite apparently 24hr staff) didn't know if it was safe to return to our rooms so we're out in the cold and didn't go back to sleep as unsure on situation. Handled very badly. The bathroom in the room had fogged glass so not very private. Tiny room which was expected but the floor was dirty so no room to get ready. for £130 felt it was very expensive for what it was! Toilet in the reception area was filthy, whole reception area had sticky dirty floors - understand it's a bar but in the morning it should be clean.
Disappointing, and checked out early to stay elsewhere.
3.0Location suited us well, staff were nice and temperature controls are good.
− The shower was cold and the water flowed across the floor under the bed which soaked the bottom of our belongings stored there. The toilet was similar to an aeroplane toilet but with a very large full basin of water all the time. Bathroom had no obvious air extraction, so it had a good bit of mould in the corners. The door was uninsulated, so it was noisy when inside.
