Not at all near the airport!

− “Near” the airport means over 4km’s away; so any savings are offset by the taxi costs. The place is what you’d expect for the price; but I didn’t like how I was turned away, being told Red Doorz was next door; 20 minutes later I went back and discovered it was the correct place. The stairs were very uneven, not helpful with lots of luggage. if I ever return to Palembang, I’ll take the metro into town and stay somewhere nicer….The area is pretty grim too!
