Please so not be fooled DONT BOOK
2.0I would have just rated 1 star but I was compelled to save a family or someone travelling. 1. Just pay room only rate the breakfast is whack and so many eateries around. The breakfast is just sustenance food nothing exciting and all cramped up. 2.Bring € and change at airport into LEK because the hotel rate is a rip-off. 3. Don't expect any customer service its bad and unfortunately they are unhelpful and only speak 1% English you will be lucky if they are nice or understand. Worst was failure to book my airport transfer timeously I almost missed my flight. 4. Maximum stay 1 night and if you have to then 2 because anything more will be hellish. Just to be used as a place of safety but don't expect any 4* they are a -1* towels with hair, sheets appeared to have blood stains, balcony door broken, unsurmountable dismay and despair. 5. Hotel is in a derelict area which is such of Tirana as a whole but if you need to then request a room furtherest away from lift and avoid balcony because of street vendor noise. 6.Once in your room all plugs are 2 pin point so bring an adapter my TV didn't work at all and they weren't bothered, walls are razor thin you can hear every word, cough and sneeze from next room. 7. Do not partake of anything in minibar it literally costs 10% at the supermarket across the road compared to the exorbitant hotel prices. 8. The overall hotel is badly managed and poorly maintained there are dirt marks all over Im so glad I didn't bring my children the spa was unhygienic smelt like a sewerage with pool water looking so dirty and the pool beds unkempt and steam room so damp smelly. 9. Please don't eat in the restaurant rather go out to better places within walking distance and better service and experience and the hotels menu is in Alabanian so be careful you wont know what you are eating or alternatively download and order with delivery from app named Wolt. 10. My overall advise as a single solo traveller, parent and caring tourist DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE
Big scam!!!
2.0scam, durty, disgusting, keep far away from this hotel!!!!! Creapy neighboorhood, noisy rooms, weird marks all over the place, horrible breakfast buffet, stains who I don’t even want to know what it is, the lobby guys at night treatened me and my daughter at our arrival to pay an extra 300€ when I only wanted to stay 1 night and payed 1 week up front. Very unplaisant experience.
Not as bad as I expected
6.0I booked this before reading the ratings, and thus was shocked when I read many of the 2 star reviews. When I tried to get out of the booking, I couldn't. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised the Hotel was no where near as bad as the comments suggested. The downsides. 1. You check in at the Europa Hotel across the road (no big deal). 2. At check in they insist on 50 euros deposit in cash for mini bar etc (rather than just swiping your credit card). You get a receipt for this and get your money back when you check out. 3. The rooms were a bit tired but still fairly functional. 4. When I booked via Agoda they only took a small % of the advertised cost. The remaining balance was taken at check in. They insisted in using their exchange rate on my credit card (or cash). It ended up costing me £5 more than the Agoda price. 5. Breakfast is Basic at best (not worth the money, when eating out is not expensive). The positives. 1. The Location is great. 10 mins walk to Skanderberg Square. Supermarket next door. Plenty of cafes and bars nearby. 2. Although Breakfast was basic, it was included free of charge in my room rate (so it was an unexpected bonus). 3. Power shower was excellent. 4. Staff were polite and helpful also. Overall, definitely not 4 star for me, but also not 2 star either. 3 star seems fairer.
AVOID ( Big scam)
2.0AVOID – Hidden Charges, Poor Conditions, and False 4-Star Claims I booked this hotel as part of an all-inclusive package for two people, two nights. What followed was one of the most disappointing and misleading hotel experiences I have ever had. Hidden Check-In Charges Despite having a fully paid package, we were charged an extra £80 at check-in — with no prior warning, no explanation in the booking, and no transparency whatsoever. This is unacceptable and feels deliberately deceptive. Dirty, Poorly Maintained Room The room was damp, and the paint was peeling off the walls. For a property advertising itself as a 4-star hotel, the condition was closer to a 1-star. This is not a matter of opinion — it is a basic maintenance failure. Minibar Trap The room had cold drinks (including Red Bull), snacks, peanuts, and pistachios placed openly on the table — with absolutely no notice that these items were chargeable. This appears to be a deliberate tactic to catch guests off guard at checkout, where each item is billed separately at inflated prices (reportedly €4–5 per item). No Complimentary Amenities For a self-proclaimed 4-star hotel, the only complimentary item in the room was toilet tissue. Nothing else. Poor Location The hotel is tucked between buildings in a hard-to-find spot. We struggled to locate it, and there is no clear signage or guidance. Disappointing Breakfast The breakfast did not meet any reasonable 4-star standard. Quality was poor and the selection was very limited.
Extremely unpleasant stay.
2.0Extremely unpleasant stay. The hotel is incredibly noisy — the walls seem to be made of cardboard, and you can hear absolutely everything from neighboring rooms, the corridors, and even the street, since the windows either don’t open at all or don’t close properly. Constant car honking and outside noise made it impossible to rest. The bathroom is ridiculously small and uncomfortable. To use the toilet, you literally have to step inside the shower cabin and close the door, otherwise there’s no space. There was also visible mold and a strong sewage smell. Cleanliness is below any acceptable level. The housekeeping staff are extremely loud early in the morning, talking and playing music while cleaning with the doors wide open, so all the noise spreads through the entire floor. On one occasion, they even entered my room without permission, despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door — while I was undressed — and started checking the minibar without even apologizing. Completely unacceptable behavior. During my stay there was also a group of young athletes running and shouting in the corridors, blasting loud music from their rooms, and constantly slamming doors. I had to go down to reception several times, even around 1:30 AM, to ask someone to make them quiet down, as no one from the staff seemed to care. The hotel manager himself was extremely rude and unprofessional. The room itself was in poor condition: – burnt-out lightbulbs that were never replaced; – the landline phone didn’t work, so it was impossible to reach reception without going downstairs; – the TV was frozen and unusable; – overall, the hotel felt neglected and poorly maintained. Breakfast was very basic and not replenished regularly. Most of the staff were impolite, with the exception of the receptionists and the bar/restaurant team, who were kind and helpful. To make things worse, during my stay a man fell from the third floor onto the terrace of the second, which speaks volumes about the building’s poor maintenance and overall lack of safety. The hotel might have potential if properly renovated and better managed, but in its current state it’s simply run-down, noisy, and unpleasant to stay in. ❌ Definitely would not recommend — not worth the money or the stress.
Not to repeat.
4.0Location.
− The cleaning of the room was quite weak. Floor was full of hair.
