10/10 would recommend
10.0Amazing location, really great room and the fully equipped kitchen made life so easy. Organized and seperate storage for each group / room made things run smoothly. Carlos was very helpful at check in giving the run down of the area, restaurant recommendations (you have to try Gabys Pizza) & always a smile. Also messaging each day to arrange if we need cleaning for the the room and what time works best for us. I also noticed some of the negatives posted previously e.g. no mats at the doors meaning the rooms got very sandy has been fixed. I do love seeing these types of changes being implemented showing taking the constructive criticism and improving their service

Comfortable pllace stay stay in an awesome area.
9.0Perfect location in a great area. We love el cuyo. We got a good recommendation for kite lessons. The kids liked the pool. The roof terrace is great and there is a nice kitchen in case you want to cook your own meal. But many great restaurants and breakfast bars in walking distance
− We had a power outtage, but that impacted the whole area, so not the managers fault. It happens quit a bit apperently. You have to tell the manager you want the house keeping to clean your room, which we didnt know. However, carlos did his utmost best to make us having a great stay.
100% recommended! Carlos is a very good host, the rooms were nice and the garden and pool are absolutely beautiful.

Magic in El Cuyo
10.0We loved everything about our stay at Casa Cuyo. It is a very small, intimate hotel and has a peaceful, welcoming energy about the place. Our room was a great size and had good storage for clothes. We found we didn't need to use the air con very much, only very shortly before bedtime as it tended to feel naturally cool. We loved that there is a very well equipped kitchen that you can use and water is available at all times. The pool was a welcome bonus when it became too hot to sit on the beach (no shade on the beach) and the location was great for restaurants. There is a wonderful Mexican and Italian a stone's throw from the hotel. I particularly loved the garden and the bird watching was spectacular. Upstairs has a balcony overlooking the baseball pitch and the trees and shrubs next to the hotel are home to many species; you don't even need binoculars to see them. What really sets this hotel apart though is Carlos, who is an absolute treasure; he was so helpful and went out of his way to check we were comfortable and having a good time. He gave us a lift on his motorbike to the start point of our tour and gave up his own time to accompany us on the boat as our Spanish is so poor and the captain's English was limited; we will never forget his generosity. We were gutted to find on arrival home that the hotel is up for sale and really hope that if it continues as a going concern, that the magic doesn't evaporate. An unforgettable holiday, thank you Carlos.
