Very nice but pricey
7.0Beautiful & full of character and history. Very nice view. Full breakfast buffet. Very nice restaurant.
− Bathroom wasn't meticulously clean. Staff were less friendly than other places we stayed - felt busier and less welcoming. The view from our room was terrible- I did recieve an offer to upgrade but the price was already very high so I didn't want to pay more.
Great value, spacious rooms, excellent breakfast and an awesome setting on a lock.
9.0Lovely spot overlooking a picturesque loch. A roomy and spacious hotel, a rarity in Europe. Our room was large and bigger than even American hotel rooms. Luxurious shower and toilet. Warm and relaxing great room with leather chairs and sofas off the lobby for relaxing and reading or visiting with other guests. Breakfast was the best I have had in Europe. Great staff, food selections, haggis sausage, eggs, all sorts of other goodies and all the coffee you can drink.
− The night check in guy was from their other hotel and not much help with answering questions about parking and electric car charging, which I found none.
