great location, poor service

5.0

Pub is very tired, decor is poor and staffed by young people - not very welcoming. we had travelled 3 hours and we were a few minutes later than food serving time. We asked but couldn't get any food, not even a sandwich, they had also run out of crisps!

Service not great, and for a beautiful building in a great location it is very tatty. I could see why there were hardly any people in the pub

I liked everything. The location is perfect right in the centre of Haworth. The lady who greeted me was very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. one of the nicer places to stay in Haworth.

Excellent location , clean and did the job

Location was excellent for the Brontë parsonage and the waterfalls. The cobbled street of shops was fascinating The car park was so close and staff were helpful

The pub closes at 9pm so it can feel a little isolated if the other 3 rooms aren’t occupied but that’s the only downside. Some may even see that as a positive

Stay in the actual pub where Branwell Bronte drank - great location, good value.

10.0

This is the pub where Branwell drank, it's only 100 metres from the Bronte parsonage, it's an incredible place to stay with that historic background and good value. It's on the main tourist street in Haworth, so access to food, coffee and interesting places is also brilliant. It's a bargain, basic but lovely.

Access is hard, up a steep cobbled street with very limited parking. If you're arriving on foot expect a haul uphill to get there.
