10.0This stay is run by a family and is very neat and tidy. I visited with my mother, and the lady of the stay was very warm and welcoming—she had a lovely conversation with my mom, explained why Pushkar is famous, and also showed interest in learning about our city. Overall, it was a very nice experience.
− The stay is quite lovely. However, it’s located in a narrow lane, which can make it a bit difficult to reach.If you’re coming via the Ajmer route, you’ll find a narrow lane opposite the gate of Shri S.S. Marudhar Kesari Jain Bhawan—which ho straight to stay. Also, they only accept cash—no online or card payments.
Avoid staying here it is not safe and I would not want anyone else going through what I did
1.0− I was WALKING on the first floor in the communal area going to my room. There were two monkeys there and one of them attacked me. It was acting like an angry aggressive guard dog! It scratched my leg, possibly bit it (it was behind me) and bruised both legs badly. I needed to go to hospital in Pushkar to get a rabies vaccination and 5 days of antibiotics. It was a very frightening, upsetting and traumatic experience and ruined the rest of my holiday. I had to get another two rabies vaccines while still in India and two more when I got home to the uk.
