Whimsical and cultural plus a dash of awesome
10.0This hotel was fascinating for us. My wife called it whimsical. Very old world Mexico. The pool area was so fun. We kept taking pictures of it, it's just so unique and beautiful, and the kids enjoyed swimming. The town square in the evening has tons of food carts and activity and was totally safe to go explore. We felt like it was such a treat to go and see how the locals live. They also have food available in the hotel. They had AC in the rooms and lots of fun architecture to look at. We drove our car here with American plates and did not have any issues with anybody messing with it. They have parking right by the front door.
− The AC unit worked, but it would have been nice to have some airflow, like maybe a fan in the room. The placement of the AC was a little bit odd and made it to where the room had a fairly large temperature difference from one side to the other. That's probably our only real complaint.
