Special place in a great location
10.0This place is so cool. It is a historic building with connections to the movie industry, specifically western movies. There is a lot of memorabilia displayed at the hotel, and they show classic westerns in the lobby. This place is cozy and rustic, but also clean. The hotel is in a great location, right on the main drag and very close to the mountains, hiking trails and fishing. The coffee is great!

Cool place to stay in Lone Pine.
8.0The original building is quaint, charming, and quiet. Rooms are small-ish but nicely decorated, and the bed was comfortable enough. The patio is a quiet and relaxing place, and the pool and spa are nice; the former is open until midnight, as well. Walking distance from restaurants and local stores.
− The rooms in the original building don't have climate controls but this isn't usually a problem. The tv remote was kind of a hassle to operate and its batteries were worn out but that's a minor quibble.
