9.0Weekend nostalgia visitando i luoghi che sono stati casa nostra per tanto tempo. Conosciamo molto bene il settore turistico della Versilia, sappiamo come vengono gestite le dinamiche di ospitality, specialmente lungo la costa. Sapevamo che trovare un buon compromesso non sarebbe stato facile e mai come ora mi disturba spendere soldi per NON avere il servizio. Per questo motivo questa volta abbiamo scelto di distaccarci dalla costa e provare a rivivere per un paio di giorni il clima dell'entroterra, distaccandoci di pochi km da Viareggio. La struttura dista pochissimo dalla nostra ex casa (Stiava) e ci ha garantito una vista dal balcone della camera di tutta la piana di Massaciuccoli con la veduta del lago, della costa da Viareggio fino a salire verso nord. Ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Il contesto della struttura si è rivelato nella sua semplicità assolutamente ideale. L'architettura di tutto lo stabile è bizzarra, ci parla di altri tempi ma tuttavia è risultata curata, pulita e il personale cordiale. La stanza era enorme, piu simile ad un appartamento che una stanza tradizionale di albergo. Pulita e questo ci è bastato, non essendo affatto scontato questo aspetto. La strada per raggiungere la struttura era la stessa che percorrevo per andare al lavoro a Lucca, sulla strada che porta a scavallare il monte Quiesa, a due passi da Massarosa. L'ultimo tratto è un po impervio, ripido e sterrato ma con una city car comunque non ci sono stati grandi problemi. Non avevamo colazione inclusa ma li poco distante, a Montramito, ci aspettava il nostro luogo di ristoro mattutino preferito. Nessun problema. C'è anche il ristorante interno ed il giorno del nostro arrivo si festeggiava un evento. A mezzanotte però è tornato il silenzio. Questa struttura mi ha fatto tornare un po' di nostalgia dei nostri anni vissuti nel paesino di Stiava, poco distante.

10.0Superb room size, beddings, views. Hardly anything could be better. Food at the restaurant was very delicious and prices are reasonable.
