5.0Staff were friendly and made you feel welcome. Was out the way so very quiet and peaceful.
− The room wasn’t very clean, had cobwebs in multiple places, bathroom had mould around the bath so didn’t use. Bed wasn’t very comfy, mattress seemed old and had dents in so you’d roll to the middle. Wouldn’t say it was worth £100 a night given location and room.

Comfortable two night stay to attend a friends Silver wedding anniversary party at nearby venue.
8.0Very friendly staff, very good ambiance. Old building which has kept the old building feel. Nice grounds well kept. The free buffet on Friday evening was a nice touch. We thought the drinks were reasonably priced but we are used to London Prices. Our friends from the local area thought they were a little expensive. Room we had was clean tidy and with enough room for us. Good facilities for a 3 star hotel. No air conditioning but a fan was provided which was very handy as it was hot. Breakfast was good and served when we wanted it.
− Driving out onto the road there was a slightly blind bend on the right. We could also have done without the fire alarm going off at 3:30 am. We got to the bottom of the stairs before we were informed it was a false alarm. But these things happen.
