− Mūsu istabas durvis nebija iespējams atvert līdz galam, jo tām priekšā bija skapis. Abās gultas pusēs naktsgaldiņi bija novietoti tik tuvu, ka naktī grozoties, varēja atsist galvu pret stūriem. Paklājs istabā bija smilšains, smiltis lipa pie pēdām.
