9.0Friendly and very accommodating staff. Jill, the owner, was brilliant at sharing local knowledge and making me feel comfortable. Room was really lovely with a nice bathroom. Fan added for hot weather which made sleep much more comfortable. The location was perfect for me with lots of local amenities within walking distance. Free secure car parking.
− The only disappointment, which seems to be out of control of the owners, was that the kitchen was closed for anything except breakfast due to some issues with council roadworks. This was not clear on booking.com but was clearly explained on The Black Swan's own website. Jill made me a dinner reservation in a local restaurant and suggested other places to get food to moderate for the inconvenience.
