− The facilities look very old and worn out. The host placed me, in my opinion, in the worst rooms, located on the lower level of the property, which feels more like a basement. However, the hotel did have availability in much better rooms. She also mentioned that if I booked more nights, she could move me to a better room, which I find inappropriate. Guests should be welcomed properly from the very beginning, without conditions. Upon arrival, it took me almost an hour to find someone at reception, as it was completely unattended. The shower is outdated and uncomfortable, which further affects the overall experience. Additionally, there is construction right in front of the property, causing significant noise during the day. Overall, it is not a comfortable place and does not offer a good view. It may have been a good hotel in the past, but currently it falls far below expectations, and I would not recommend it.

10.0Mai hosted me and my partner for just 2 nights but it was like visiting an auntie. She was so helpful and gave use excellent recommendations and advice on Phuket . We immediately felt calm and welcomed. The rooms and pool are beautifully decorated and very clean - luxurious 80s vibe - super comfy beds and you have a view of the big Buddha from the hotel. Brilliant location as we walked to Kata beach and then went on to the Kata night markets . Coffee and cookies available in the mornings with brown sugar which I appreciate! Wish we had booked to stay longer , we will definitely be returning to Kata interhouse when we come back to Phuket.

8.0It was peaceful and nice, also quite cheap. The location was good for us - away from the noisy crowds and roads, but there was a construction nearby, ruining the experience :(
− We specifically asked for twin beds and got a king-sized bed, which was unexpected. I'm not sure if they have only one room with twin beds, which was occupied.
