− I stayed at this hotel for my wedding in Copenhagen, and unfortunately, what should have been one of the happiest and most special days of my life was overshadowed by a very disturbing experience. At around 5:30 a.m. on the morning of my wedding, a completely naked woman somehow entered our hotel room while my husband and I were sleeping. I still do not know how she managed to get into our room. She remained inside until we managed to get her out. I want to be clear that I understand that the hotel may not have been directly responsible for this woman's actions. However, the experience itself was extremely frightening and upsetting. I did not feel safe in my own hotel room, and I found it deeply disturbing that a stranger was able to enter our private room in the middle of the night. This happened on the morning of my wedding, at approximately 5:30 a.m., which made the situation even more distressing. Instead of waking up feeling happy and excited about my wedding day, I was left feeling shocked, vulnerable and anxious. The hotel offered us two bottles of champagne and a small set of the hotel's organic products, which I appreciated as a gesture. However, for me, this was not really about compensation or gifts. It was about how such a frightening incident made me feel and the fact that I no longer felt completely safe in the place where I was staying. I am sharing this review because I believe guests should be aware of what happened and because I hope the hotel will take this kind of incident seriously and review its security and room access procedures. I truly wish my memories of staying at this hotel were only about my wedding, but unfortunately, this experience will always be part of that memory.
