The worst room we have ever stayed in. Dirty carpet, previous guest socks left under bed on a layer of dust. Dirty old furniture The tiny room was unbearably warm, no fan provided or bottled water. Bathroom along the landing with broken lock, thick layer of dust and cobwebs under free standing bath along with disused small toiletry’s don’t know when this was last cleaned. Entrance directly onto a vey busy main road no pathway. Reluctant to give this 1 star didn’t deserve any.

Late July overnight stay for Betws-y-coed

8.0

Cosy room in an old coaching inn full of history. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. Centre of Betws-y-coed about a 10 - 15 minute walk away

Bed wasn't too comfy and noise from the main road woke us up during the night. With it being an old building you could hear constant creaks from other people walking around the floor above. Not enough parking spaces for cars, there being about 5 spaces provided for the entire hotel.

nicht zu empfehlen

2.0

History of the building, but was not well displayed

Welcoming, friendly, nice atmosphere, comfy bed. Excellent breakfast. Short walk into the town centre.

Lovely spot for an overnight stay but would avoid Mondays and Tuesdays when the hotel has no food!!

Very quaint. Lots of character. Very clean. Comfy bed.

The restaurant and bar Don’t serve any food on Monday and Tuesday evenings-which is a shame—and a number of the local hotels are the same. So-you need to either drive or walk to local village -which is a shame if you want to relax with a couple of drinks and a nice meal and then fall into bed!
