A Peaceful Nature Retreat Worth Every Bit! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The location is a standout — stunning sunset views that truly set the mood for a relaxing stay. Rooms and washrooms were clean and well-maintained, which is always a big plus. A special mention for the property caretaker, Mr. Pawar, who arranged a lovely bonfire and was incredibly helpful and cooperative throughout our stay. − My experience with Ashoka Villa was extremely disappointing. Initially, my booking was denied, and I was informed that the room had already been given to another family. Later, I was contacted again and asked to make payment immediately because that family's booking had supposedly been cancelled. This created confusion and made the entire booking process feel unreliable and unprofessional. The property's location was also misleading. It is approximately 22 km away from Mahabaleshwar Main Market, which is much farther than many travelers might expect. Guests should be aware that frequent travel to the market area can be time-consuming and costly. The bungalow itself has a sheet-metal roof with a false ceiling installed underneath, which may not match the expectations created by the photos or description. During certain weather conditions, the structure may not provide the comfort one would expect from a holiday stay. Another major drawback is the lack of nearby restaurants, food outlets, or basic conveniences. Guests without their own vehicle may find it difficult to access meals and essential services. Customer service was disappointing throughout the interaction. I felt that obtaining payment was given more importance than providing clear communication and good hospitality. The booking process lacked transparency, and the overall experience left me feeling dissatisfied and frustrated. I would advise future travelers to verify the exact location, facilities, and booking status very carefully before making any payment.

Excellent place to relax and enjoy nature

We liked the location and the wide spread greenery along with huge trees surrounding the guest house.The caretaker Mr Jayesh Pawar was very cooperative and helpful.Good and hot breakfast was served and we ordered dinner which was cooked by his wife. Thanks to them we had a pleasant stay. He also started a bonfire on request at night as we enjoyed the cool weather.I strongly recommend this place for people looking for relaxing and spending time with their family.
