We liked the location and peace. (DON’T trust the GPS to lead you through the town. Go around, then you can save yourself stress and scratches on your car)

− Our code for the gate did not work and no one picked up the phone. Waited for 30 min until some one opened. There had been a family emergency, which also meant the place was not tidy with old bottles and coffee cups standing around on tables. We did get two good rooms with A/C (thanks Bruno)

Event location, not a vacation location

The architecture of the vila is beautiful and the garden. The staff was the best thing about this location. They were lovely and helpful, especially with the parking. The pool was clean. The breakfast was good, especially on Sunday because of the event. Someone in the past has put a lot of heart and soul into this place, unfortunately is not the case anymore.

− I booked a deluxe double room with spa facilities. We were hosted outside the vila. They had a business event the first night, that was okay. The second night there was a private party with DJ. The music went on until 2 a.m. I would have at least expected to be informed. The vila was only for the event. I had to drive 7 hours the next day. The rooms need a lot of maintenance. I had a snail climbing on my luggage and plenty of insects to take out. The spa was in renovation. Getting out of the parking space was difficult. The young guests from the event parked so I couldn’t exit until they were awake. We waited until they were at the breakfast so I asked the staff to help me with the situation. The guests were angry for being disturbed and after multiple attempts they eventually moved the car so I can get mine out. It was a very uncomfortable situation. This is a location for people who like to show off and have fancy events. I hope the management will choose the right business model in the future. You can’t have private parties and luxury spa hotel in the same time. Sorry, but I can’t say I had good experience.

Delightful villa with lovely staff- a very special place.

This villa is beautiful and the rooms are absolutely lovely. Very comfortable beds and surrounded by gorgeous trees so you hear nothing but birdsong when you are on your balcony. Bruno, the owner and Abu could not do more for their guests and were so accommodating and friendly.

− The breakfast was ok but not great. One easy fix would be to store the eggs on a warmer or burner of some kind so that they are not cold and perhaps add some bacon or ham. More fresh fruit would be great too and jam options. The shower pressure was very weak so fixing that plumbing issue would also be good.
