Fantastic Villa Pioppi Hotel
9.0Room (number 5) was excellent. Comfortable bed. Big bathroom with modern shower. Large room with plenty of storage and air conditioning. One of the highlights was the terrace. It was huge! It had a table and chairs, parasol and two sunbeds and still had lots of room. The views were spectacular, you could see both sides of the lake around the peninsula from this terrace. The included breakfast was very nice with lots of choice and excellent coffee. We stayed around the main pool area. The pool was a lovely temperature with spectacular views over the lake, large astroturfed area around the pool with lots of sunbeds. All of the staff were excellent. Polite and friendly. One in particular (young lady with glasses whose name I didn't get) was particularly good, friendly and very smiley. We had lunch and dinner in the restaurant a few times and it was fantastic. In fact dinner was probably better than any of the restaurants we ate at outside and prices were very reasonable. Everywhere was cleaned daily.
− I won't say it was something we didn't like but perhaps one thing that would enhance the whole experience : We like to relax with a drink before and after dinner and although you could sit at your dining table for as long as you like, it doesn't feel quite as relaxed when people are clearing up around you. The pool area is huge and it would be good if some comfortable chairs and tables could be placed there during the evening.
Wonderful hotel and friendly staff
10.0Wonderful hotel, with friendly staff and exceptional setting. Lovely food in the restaurant and having a pool (2) available was icing on the cake.
− It would be nice to have a kettle in the room and it would also be nice to have at least as many loungers as guests. These are very minor issues though and overall a wonderful place.
We would stay here again!
9.0The hotel was in a great location in Sirimone. We enjoyed eating breakfast at the restaurant and also had dinner one night which was delicious. We were able to walk a short way one evening to another restaurant in town. The rooms were comfortable and there were beautiful views of the lake!
