10.0This place is heaven. Such a beautiful location. The staff were all incredible. They were all so accommodating and made us feel so welcome. Food was the best we had in our two week stay in Sri Lanka. A must stay if you are going to Belihuloya.

A treasured new find.
10.0I have some favourite properties around the world that stay in the memory after you leave, they all have something in common with Glenrock though. Accommodation set within a beautiful natural environment that offers peace and tranquility without the big hotel feel. There are also great dining options and nothing is too much trouble to ensure you have a memorable stay. After twelve days exploring the culture and nature of north and central Sri Lanka this was a perfect place to wind down before heading to the hustle and bustle of the south coast for my final week. The property was recommended by fellow travellers shortly after I arrived in Sri Lanka and I honestly can’t thank them enough. As with the other properties I mentioned (Glen Oaks, Big Sur CA / Pumphouse Point, Tasmania / Milia Mountain Retreat, Crete) I will do everything in my power to return.

Good to know
Please note that driver accommodations and driver's meals are free of charge at our Car Park. Although the Google maps may show you the distance to World's End as 8.6 kms, that trail is closed by the government. Actual distance to Horton Plains and World's End from the Glenrock is 67 kms (one way)( We provide excursions to Horton Plains and Adam's Peak and more).
Vehicles must be parked at our car park, 2297 ft away and we will safely take you in our off road shuttle to the hotel. Please contact the hotel(ideally with a local phone number which can be easily purchased at the airport). so that we can help you with directions and information(Some google map recommended may not be travelable/viable mainly due to road conditions).
While free WiFi facilities are available, only the Mobitel mobile carrier coverage is available. Spa therapies have to be booked at least five days prior to the Check In Date and available only subject to the availability of the therapist. Liquor, wine and beer are available in room and at restaurant.
