9.0Tranquil setting. Small number of rooms set around the pool with restaurant and bar next to it. Friendly helpful staff.
− Would have been great to be closer to the beach but I knew when booking it was a bit of a walk.

8.0What a beautiful hotel! The pool area is amazing and so relaxing. Plus there’s a bar/restaurant open all day 6:30am-10pm where you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner (plus many Toñas!). It’s a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. We have a car so it’s not a problem for us - parking nearer the beach is free anyway. The hotel organises surf lessons and drives you down to the beach with your board anyway. Shower comes with shampoo, body wash and conditioner, which was a nice treat! It’s also the cleanest hotel we’ve stayed at in Nicaragua so far. For us (couple) it was worth staying slightly away from the beach to get the amazing facilities, chill out area with hammocks and nice room.
− The doors are very creaky to the rooms and the internal bathroom ensuite doors too. All they need to do is get some lubricant / WD40 and it will be fixed right away! Even though the room was v clean, there is a horrible smell that came from our en suite toilet sometimes - it smells kinda like sewage. We shut the en suite door overnight but sometimes the smell would still creep through. The bar/restaurant area is lovely, but it wasn’t very busy when we were there (just us and one other group) . So there isn’t much of a vibe compared to places nearer the beach we went to. Maybe this is just the time we went and it gets busier other times. However if you’re looking for maximum chill anyway, then this is the place for you!
