Great location but not a 4-star standard
4.0Location - The hotel is right in the middle of the city and very convenient for all local amenities, which are walkable. The room was fairly spacious.
− This is not really a hotel of a 4-star standard. Reception is not 24/7, and even during the hours of operation, it is often empty. Breakfast was of a very mediocre standard, with rubber-like pre-cooked scrambled eggs, overcooked sausage and a meagre selection of charcuterie. The breakfast attendant was akin to a dragon - that, plus the food quality, made us forsake breakfast from day two, and instead we found a local coffee shop to sustain us. Our room was generally clean, but the quality of pillows, bed linen and towels was not of a 4-star hotel. For a couple of days of our stay, our room was not cleaned at all. The safe in our room was miniscule - barely big enough to hold our passports. We ended up locking our other valuables in our suitcase... The pool water was cold, so the pool is unusable really, unless one is into cold water swimming. Overall, although we will return to Santa Maria, we are unlikely to return to Charming Blue.

− Geen wandel of fietsroutes beschikbaar in het hotel. Receptie verwees je door naar gegidste toeren.
