My stay was pleasant but small changes such as more flexible pillows would have made it better.
8.0Alberto was fantastic. He was welcoming and answered all of my questions. Staying at the Lodge was like taking a step back into the 1950s, which being in my 70s I remember. Breakfast was simple but much better than what you would get at a Residence Inn or Fairfield Inn.
− The bed and pillows. The bed was very soft and too close to the floor. Also, the pillows were foam, therefore not very flexible. The a/c unit was quite loud and I finally unplugged it. Getting in and out of the tub to take a shower was a challenge since there were no grab bars.

10.0The breakfast was excellent - everything was fresh and beautifully arranged. Delicious omelets were prepared exactly as ordered. The proprietor was friendly, helpful and a delight. The room was comfortable and extremely clean.
