Stay was as expected - dated property but clean and efficient.
6.0We had breakfast twice in the restaurant and it was good. Everything in Alaska is more expensive than the 48 so I'll say that it was a fair price for the location. Service was friendly. Restaurant service one day was quick, Sunday was slow because of the number of people. Rooms are dated but clean, water is hot, hair dryer and mini fridge in room. No microwave. Bar in back was great for a nightcap. Loved the bartender and she pours a great drink while having an easy conversation with her patrons.
− No free coffee for the renters. We had to go down to the restaurant in our pj's and pay $3 every morning for one large coffee (we split it) then pay again if we ate breakfast there. Amenities are minimal - little packets of shampoo and 2 tiny hand soaps for sink & shower but they will give more if asked. Rooms are tight for 2 people.. one suitcase will have to go on the floor. We lucked into warm weather while there so I'll say the large AC unit is ungodly loud and kicks in randomly all night. Don't have feedback on the heating unit.
People were friendly but the hotel was old and not very clean

5.0Location and it was open 24 hrs
− Rooms were not clean, broken locks, the air conditioner/heater was too loud.
Plumbing issues but clean, basic accommodation with great food options and helpful staff.
7.0The location and staff were excellent. The queen room on my first two nights was very comfortable. The 24/7 restaurant was also very good and had a lot of options on their menu and served very good comfort food.
− My stay was split into 2 nights plus an additional night later in the week. The first two nights my room although basic, was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, there was a leak in the plumbing under the sink, and at the base of the tap fixture. I let staff know as I was leaving and they contacted someone to fix the issues. My second night, the bed surface of the twin I slept in was very lumpy. The bathroom, although a shower nozzle was in place, did not work. It appeared that the bathroom fixtures had recently been replaced but no connection was in place to turn in the shower. I ended up having to bend over the bath tub to wash my hair , not ideal.
