Trotz Sommerferien hat die Familie ein gutes Frühstück gemacht und waren auch sonst sehr bemüht am Gast

Friendly server at breakfast, up to date and clean rooms with airconditioning, in the city center.

− This hotel had been recommended to us, and based on the excellent reviews and facilities, we booked a two-night stay. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We specifically chose this hotel because it advertised on-site parking. Due to a chronic medical condition, I have limited mobility, especially in hot weather. A few days before arrival, we were informed that the hotel could not be reached by car because of festivities, and that we would need to park about 400 metres away. In reality, it was closer to half a kilometre. Arriving in 39°C (102°F) heat while carrying luggage for a week (we already spent a few days elsewhere) caused me considerable pain for the rest of our stay. We later discovered that the hotel’s own parking area was unavailable for a longer period because of construction next to the hotel, meaning we had to make the walk to the parking lot again and again throughout our entire stay. The welcome was far from friendly. We received little information about the hotel, had to ask basic questions ourselves, and were informed that the restaurants, terrace and other facilities were closed on the day of arrival. Unfortunately, they remained closed during our entire stay, leaving us to find food and drinks elsewhere each time. The room had no minibar or refrigerator, and there was nowhere in the hotel to buy drinks. Apart from two small complimentary bottles of water at check-in, we had to rely on tap water. Breakfast was another disappointment. The food did not appear fresh, the fruit and vegetables were dried out, and the bread was stale. At check-out, there was little interest in our feedback. When I mentioned our disappointment about the closed facilities, the response was dismissive, with no acknowledgment of the inconvenience. I hope this was an exception, but I also believe future guests should be aware that this may happen.
