Dark, worn-out, and unwelcoming to comfortably stay overnight with their young son.
3.0− The room in general looked very old and over used. Beds creaked and looked like it could have things living inside (but to be fair, I didn't check). The room was dark, but this could be because it was a first floor and looking at the parking lot (which was full of immense trucks). In summary, I didn't think this was the place to spend the night with my 4 y.o. son, so took this as a sunken cost and found another place.

− Not for solo female travelers!! There was no deadbolt or chain on the door. The only lock on the door was the very basic thumbturn lock on door knob. I asked the host about it and he told me that none of the rooms on the ground floor had anything else.
