The White Hart Hotel in Hook provided exactly what I was looking for in my English Pub experience!
10.0The room and bed were adequate since I was working long days. I particularly liked the breakfast and had the full English breakfast on two occasions. The other days I took a breakfast BAP with me to eat on the train from Hook to Farnborough.
− The weather was beautiful but Mother Nature provided higher than normal temperatures for the area. It's typical that air conditioning is not used in that area since temperatures are usually cooler that during my stay. It was a bit uncomfortable sleeping at night. But no one can control Mother Nature.

5.0We only stayed at the hotel for the Farnborough Airshow so the location in proximity to the train station was great. Bed was comfortable.
− Upon checking into the room - the toilet hadn’t been properly cleaned with remnants of the previous occupants’ waste in the toilet. The food was not great either in the restaurant. Footsteps of the rooms above are very loud.
Hook White Hart Inn (oldesd Inn in Hampshire)
9.0Excellent accomodation with up to date bathroom. Liked the olde worlde bar and restaurant area, good and interesting range of meals and drinks, also guest craft ales,o better than the two other hostelries in Hook. Friendy atmosphere and appears to be popular with locals.Rail station is 5 minutes walk. Would stay again.
− Being on a busy main road, there is naturally some traffic noise but the accomodation is set back so this is minimised.
