Absolutely beautiful property with incredible sunrise views from our bed. Waking up to that view was one of the highlights of our stay. The outdoor seating area, kitchen, and fridge were lovely additions. Although we didn't use the kitchen, we enjoyed relaxing outside to read, unwind, and enjoy fresh fruit. The food was delicious. Everything was cooked fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The Amed Chilli Benny and other dishes were highlights. The only dish that didn't meet expectations was the steak, which was more like burger meat than a steak. Although the menu wasn't as local as we had hoped, the flavours and quality were excellent. Compliments to the chef. We appreciated the large water dispenser provided in the room, which made it easy to pour water into cups and refill our own bottles. A special thank you to Putu, Putu, and Ardi for welcoming us into the Galungan celebrations. Being included in this experience was very special and made our stay even more memorable. On one occasion, we had no hot water, but after notifying the team it was resolved within around 15 minutes, which we appreciated.

− The shower drainage was a major issue during our stay. We reported it immediately, but unfortunately it continued. Every time we showered, the bathroom floor flooded, which was particularly concerning as we showered multiple times a day and the tiles became very slippery with only one bath mat available. There was also an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. The bath was unusable as it was rusty and appeared dirty. The shower area had no storage or shelving, making it difficult to keep toiletries accessible while showering. We were disappointed with the spa experience. We had hoped to enjoy a Balinese massage and a manicure/pedicure, but despite the spa staff being present, we were unable to have these treatments as planned. We were told that one therapist wanted to leave to spend time with family due to the Galungan celebrations. We completely respect the importance of the celebration, but as guests expecting to use the advertised services, this was disappointing. We opted for a shorter facial instead, but were later told that our nails could not be done either. We loved our stay at Anda Amed. The views, food, atmosphere, and hospitality were fantastic. The bathroom drainage issue was the main thing preventing this from being a higher score, but the positives far outweighed the negatives.

Het personeel was super vriendelijk. Als je iets nodig hebt of een activiteit in de buurt wil doen helpen ze je meteen! Bovendien is het verblijf super mooi!

Het was geweldige locatie we hadden het huisj pal aan zee leuk om de vissers hun werk te zien doen het hele dorp loopt uit om te helpen als er een visser terug komt van zee.

− Alles was prima

Still a good base for Amed activities. Great pool and food, goodish view.

This is my 6th time at Anda Amed, I've been coming since 20 years and the place has essentially stayed the same. The new fusion menu was a delight, of course I wanted some of the traditional breakfasts on occasion which they catered for but the new menu is fantastic so top marks to the chef. Infinity pool is lovely even with the power line running across the view! The little kitchen next to the room is handy to knock up a smoothy, hot drink or cook a meal.

− Traffic has increased as is expected with the increase in tourist numbers. This means more noise from the road when you are in the pool or in the villas lower down the hill. Transport is an issue and you will need to hire a scooter, if you aren't a scooter kind of person taxi rides will add up and be a major cost, though walking is fine if you like that as long as it's not into town.
