Cute little hotel with a very good restaurant (the 11-course menu is excellent), nice family room. Very well located, quite quiet, near to the busier old town.

− It was very hot in the upstairs beds of the family room, the AC didn’t help so much there.

It was fantastic! The hotel the restaurant all of it and you get free wine! It was absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend and come back too!

Authentieke mooie kamer op geweldige locatie.

Geweldig mooie kamer in klein verblijfje. Heel mooi uitzicht vanuit de authentieke kamer. Heel vriendelijk personeel en heel lekker restaurant bij het verblijf wat ik absoluut zou aanraden in de avond. Maak er best een reservatie voor. Alles was proper en goed voorzien. De locatie voor het centrum was ook uitstekend. Het personeel was ook heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

− Hou er rekening mee dat het een kort stukje stappen is vanaf een parking die een beetje verder ligt.

Great location, but some improvements

So firstly, the location of this place was amazing, right by the river on the side with views over Berat which were beautiful in the day and the night. It was very walkable and so easy to get over either of the two footbridges. The room was also spotlessly clean, with a super comfy bed and the shower was great. We also found the air conditioning worked well and we had a good stay in the room when we were in it. The value for money you also get here is incredible.

− Sadly our stay wasn't quite as expected. Firstly, the parking is a little bit down the road and is chargeable- no issues but worth noting. This also means you are left to find the parking and hotel yourself, dragging your suitcases up cobbled pavements and up the incline to the hotel. When we also got to the hotel it was a very busy restaurant - not something we expected and we are awkwardly dragging our cases past customers having to ask them to move so we can get in. We were then immediately asked for payment right away and told our room was upstairs (up a small staircase in the back corner), again awkwardly asking those dining if we could get past. As I said the room was spotless, cannot complain about the size as we knew we booked a small room, but the bathroom was completely exposed - so the toilet has no door and is basically next to the foot of the bed. This really wasn't great. The room also strongly smelt of the cooking food downstairs (as there is no door to downstairs, just an open staircase) and we could hear the restaurant very clearly - it was busy and was loud. We honestly minimised the time in room because of this and if you have had a long journey, wouldn't be a place for a day nap. We also stayed out late to avoid being kept up by it. Finally, the breakfast was not what we expected, we were not greeted in the morning, asked how our stay was, and left on the tables were bread, yoghurt and juice, no hot drinks or tea/ coffee - so we just sat down and assumed that was correct and for us. Overall I cannot mark down on score as the price was great and the photos are accurate, but personally, we wouldn't stay here again and hopefully the team put some of this feedback in place to make improvements for the next guests.

Izgled sobe, udobne postelje, lolacija hotela. Sicer nismo bili lačni, ampak v hotelu nudijo ugoden degustacijski obrok, ki je izgledal zelo okusen. Majhen hotelček v obnovljeni stari mestni stavbi, kar dela poseben ambient.

− Lokacija sobe neposredno nad jedilnico, kar pomeni, da je bilo malce hrupno zvečer.
