− No consideration for PWD. staircase is hard to navigate if one is dependent on a cane. Bookings did not indicate there is no elevator. 😒
Short But Lovely
9.0We booked 3 rooms and they were all very clean. Bed linen was new, white and fresh. The room had ample space for luggage. The air conditioning was already turned on when we arrived so the room was nice and cool. One of the rooms we booked had a veranda and although basic (just a table and chairs) was a cozy spot to just sit and enjoy the surroundings-even if the house next door was dilapidated and covered with vegetation-very peaceful. The hotel is in a quiet location but also very central to a lot of the main activities of the town. You can either walk or take a very reasonably priced kalesa (horse and carriage) local ride to take you around and if you want-wait for you. The staff is very helpful providing guests with information (a laminated pamphlet) on where to go, what to see, opening times, etc.
− Limited parking for guests. Although the bed linen was nice and clean, the towels in the room were a bit old, frayed and thinning. Breakfast was basic and limited but we were 5 people and the staff still gave us breakfast for 6 people because we booked 3 rooms - which was a nice surprise. There is no elevator to get to the rooms so you will have to climb several flights of stairs. Wasn’t an issue for us but could be a consideration for others. The rooms didn’t have refrigerators but we were able to store our cold food in the hotel refrigerator. The shower was also a bit weak in terms of water pressure. The staff were all very helpful and did their best to keep us all comfortable so, really minor inconveniences. We would come back again.

10.0Perfect place to stay in with great location, great staff, good breakfast, but most of all honest people. I left my watch and rings in the room and they called and mailed them to me. I’m grateful and happy to have stayed there.
