Very tranquil escape in a beautiful property.

It’s a very beautiful property set in gorgeous grounds with a lovely pool area. We particularly enjoyed having a terrace outside our room to relax in the evening. It’s an easy walk downhill into Lakka where there are plenty of restaurants, uphill all the way back though, take a torch as it’s not always easy to get a taxi at short notice. Anna, the manager, sorts out everything she is a absolute marvel, just ask her !!!

− More comfortable sunbeds would be nice. The breakfast offerings are adequate but uninspiring. More ‘fresh’ fruits would have been appreciated, maybe a chopped/sliced fruit salad. Also, on most days the kitchen had run out of something silly like cucumber. The fresh omelettes are good tho.

Breakfast was excellent. Room nice but no balcony so very little room to hang stuff to dry. Pool lovely and towels provided. No staff on site from 6.30 but not an issue and allows you to relax in the courtyard with own refreshments. Staff were amazing especially Anna the manager and the breakfast crew and the 2 ladies who cleaned room everyday.

− The walk home from Lakka up a hill. Walking down is fine in less than 10 minutes but going uphill after a night out is hard.

A charming hotel with a beautiful garden and wonderful staff.

What I loved most was the beautiful old building and the stunning garden with its ancient olive trees. Everything has been restored with so much care and attention to detail. The whole place has a lovely charm, the staff were genuinely friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming.

− If I had to mention one thing, it would be the low water pressure in the bathroom. Other than that, everything was excellent.

Wonderful setting and property

− Not to a "hotel" standard. The rooms and setting were excellent; the pool is lovely but there is no hotel service - no bar, no where to be served drinks or have any sort of snacks. The breakfast was okay but only okay. We would have happily spent at the hotel on a variety of things but this was not an option. The pool is excellent but sun loungers very average for this type of hotel. We were expecting more. With a bit of attention this could be a very lovely hotel but sadly does not deliver.

Everything. We sail across Greece a few times each year since 1998 so you'd think we had seen everything but no: Torri e Merli is exceptionally beautiful. The boutique hotel is located on this breath-taking estate which embodies luxury and relaxation. The hosts are exceptionally welcoming and friendly. The room was big, chique and sooo clean which I love. Big bathroom with a big shower and even a load of drinks and snacks in your room which are on the house. I haven't seen that in a long long time across the world so that was a very kind touch. I feel hestitant on sharing this gem with the world but they deserve every 10 out of 10 rating. Thank you loads and we will be back!
