Passable

Poor
3.0Initially, the thought of staying in a log cabin as it was to be a first time experience. Proximity to Yosemite National Park.
− Closer inspection of the cabin revealed unwashed and stained bed covers and pillows that should have been retired years ago. There is general wear and tear then there is total lack of maintenance and repair, this cabin comes under the latter. Bathroom and kitchen need a total make over, the icing on the cake was the discovery in the morning of a sign affixed to (all) the cabin front from the Mariposa Fire Department stating that the hotel was unfit to trade as such and was forbidden to do so. Sign was dated July 13, 2023 and there we were in December 2024! Grounds surrounding the cabins was unkempt and the access road was dangerous to turn off highway 140, this road was not an approved access. Disappointing, if remedial work was undertaken to meet lawful requirements it would be a great place to stay.
