beautiful hotel in the middle of nature

uncomfortable beds, they must have experienced a lot of love or they creaked so much that you almost couldn't turn over at night 😀

Very cleaned, great staff, good food and one of the nicest private beach in Kiwengwa

Bed was a bid hard, if I gotta find something wrong, but not bad at all

Super happy! Minor improvements could be made

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! We stayed at the same pricerange in Nungwi, and excpected the same standard. But this was incredibly fresh, modern, light, clean in a minimalistic scandinavian/bali-design. Beach beds were SO comfy, they played good music (afrobeats) by the beach, very safe with guards around the beach area, almost no mosquitos to be found. Very windy compared to the west side but it's quite nice during a hot day. Yummy breakfast with freshly cooked egg and pancakes etc. Also loved the good lightning in the bathroom.

Language: We weren't aware Kiwengwa was "little italy" of zanzibar. Some of the staff couldn't speak english well, and greeted us "buongirno" in italian instead of swahilian "jambo", which took away from the zanzibar-experience. Also, all activities such as yoga and beach fun were in italian, so we were never aware when there was a beach competition cause we couldn't understand. Restaurant: Strangely the restaurant couldn't offer any a la carte as we didn't have all inclusive, and would charge us $25 each to try their buffét which wasn't a very fair price. We could order a margarita pizza for $7 which was fine, but ended up going to nearby hotel restaurants that were sooo yum! (Recommend Stone resort + White dream resort) Beds: I've travelled a lot but never experienced a bed as hard as this one, horrible. However – after 3 nights we finally complained and asked if there was anything they could do, and they exchanged the whole mattress to a softer one. 5/5 points to their service! We really loved this place and would go back! Still wanted to highlight where they have room for improvements.
