I came to ShiShi-Iwa House for the architecture, but what stayed with me was the people. The warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality of the ShiShi-Iwa community made it difficult to leave. Beyond the remarkable architecture, the experience felt deeply immersive - connection between nature, design, people, and the spirit of Karuizawa. Thank you for creating a place where architecture is not only seen, but truly lived.
