Relaxing, excellent quality room and hotel, great service
9.0Proximity to the harbour and to the golf cart hire. Beautiful room and dining and lounge areas. Dinner and breakfast excellent.
Enjoyed every thing that was on offer.
9.0The staff and service for all meals was excellent.
− The plastic grass.
First class staff, which made our stay memorable
10.0Everything! From the minute we walked into the hotel we were greeted by David, who also phoned us as he was aware of our flight from Exeter being cancelled. He went out of his way to ask if we were ok and did we need anything on our arrival. The Hall looked beautiful when we arrived, gardens were immaculate. Our room was lovely and clean, well stocked up with toiletries and hot drinks. The breakfast was amazing, good produce from Gloucester. We stayed one evening for a meal. The chef cooked our steak perfectly. Staff were all very hard working and attentive. They are a real credit to the hotel. We have to name some of them, Brad, Marcus, Lauren, Georgia & Grace. They were full of reccomendations to get us out exploring the island. This is our first visit to the island and won't be our last. We hope to see the above friendly faces next year when we return with my parents. Thankyou all for such a wonderful visit.
− If I have to say something that I wasn't happy with it would be there was no hair conditioner in the bathrooms
very nice
8.0good breakfast rooms very nice
Outstanding, the best hotel on the island
10.0Very friendly and knowledgeable reception staff. The food was outstanding, I noticed that quite a few people from other hotels eat here for a “treat” so to have this available for our whole stay was wonderful. The main menu is varied and interesting with a great selection of steaks and the specials board adds to the choice.
− Nothing, it was perfect
Fabulous food in a lovely setting.
9.0Fabulous food! Really nice friendly staff. Lovely grounds, dining rooms and lounge areas. The deluxe bedroom was excellent.
− Not so keen on the standard double room, rather cramped but the deluxe/superior room was great.
