1.0− We booked our stay at Grand Camellia in Ambalantota through Booking.com, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. The facilities and service were well below standard. The washroom in our room had a broken toilet, and when we brought it to the staff’s attention, their response was dismissive. Instead of addressing the issue, they made comments suggesting that it was because we had booked a lower-priced room — which felt unprofessional and unacceptable. We also noticed a clear lack of equal treatment among guests. It seemed like those staying in non-AC rooms were not given the same level of service or attention as guests in AC rooms. This kind of attitude made us feel unwelcome and undervalued during our stay. Overall, we were quite disappointed and would not recommend this hotel unless improvements are made in both their customer service and facility maintenance.

7.0The location was very convenient for us since we just wanted to spend the night on a long trip. The rooms were good and well worth the price we paid. Was a little sceptical about the place since some past reviews were not too promising, but we weren't disappointed.
