10.0This place is truly magical. The location is absolutely breathtaking, and the accommodation blends perfectly with its natural surroundings, creating a peaceful and unforgettable experience. It's clear that an incredible amount of thought and care has gone into every detail. From the layout of the island, which ensures stunning views wherever you are, to the thoughtfully placed seating areas where you can relax and take it all in, everything has been designed to help you appreciate the beauty of the island. The sunset viewpoint is another highlight and provides a truly memorable experience. It's the perfect place to end the day, and one of the many reasons I'd recommend staying here. The staff are exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and always available to help without ever being intrusive. Their genuine hospitality made us feel completely at home. What makes this place even more special is that it operates as a non-profit, with its work directly supporting the local community. Knowing that your stay contributes to such a meaningful cause makes the experience even more rewarding. I can't recommend this place highly enough. If you're looking for somewhere beautiful, peaceful, and genuinely special, this is it.
Fantastic stay at IISOH
10.0Spent 4 excellent nights at IISOH. The location is of course stunning on the lake. The room, while basic and described as garden view, was clean, functional and all we needed for a comfortable stay, and you could still see the lake beyond the beautiful trees and garden. The service was excellent by all the staff, particularly Jimmy who served us in the restaurant/bar area. Food was well cooked, with a good variety of meals on offer, and the portion sizes are very generous. My wife and I were on the Half Board option, with breakfast and Dinner included, and we found it to be great value for money. An added highlight was the effort the staff made on our wedding anniversary day, surprising us with a meal right beside the lake, a large cake, chocolate and sweets. It really made our stay special, and we can't thank those involved enough. We hope to visit again in the near future!

10.0I had a wonderful stay in a treehouse with an incredible view over the lake. The island itself is very quiet and peaceful – the perfect place to fully relax and recharge for a few days. The treehouses were definitely the highlight. Waking up with that sea view and enjoying the day at the balcony was simply beautiful. There’s also the option to go swimming, a sunset place form swimming or the opportunity to rent wooden style canoes, which adds to the experience. The treehouses are big with a comfortable bed, new and clean sanitary facilities, warm water and the balcony with stunning lake view - Everything feels spacious and thoughtfully arranged. WiFi is available at the restaurant (only) The garden and the entire property are very well maintained, creating a calm and pleasant atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious. Payment by credit card was easy and hassle-free. Is a Eco Tourism place and the money will be used to Help the community ! 1. Training programmes and community outreach to empower the communities around Lake Bunyonyi. 2. Guest facilities to offset the training costs and enable the project to become self sustaining. Overall, the place offers excellent value for money and is a perfect little retreat if you’re looking for peace, nature, and relaxation and

5.0De locatie. Een huisje op palen aan het water. Prachtig uitzicht. De zonsondergang.
− - Zeer hard matras. - Zanderige vloer in het huisje - Slechte en onvriendelijke bediening in restaurant - Eten bereiden duurt meer dan een uur. Eten viel tegen qua smaak. - Slechte communicatie over transportkosten. Er stond in een boekje in de kamer dat het transport van en naar het eiland gratis was. Bleek alleen bij vertrek en aankomst. Dit was bij aankomst ook niet verteld. Iedere tocht kostte 7,50 euro. Dus moesten 22,50 euro extra afrekenen.
