Besides the convenience of the location I probably won’t be staying here again.
7.0I liked the location of the lodge, it’s right near the center of town.
− So we booked two rooms. These rooms were connecting rooms. Each room had windows except one room had a window that opened up into another part of the building. Thankfully the window in the other room opened up to the outside. There’s no a/c just two box fans which helped bring air into the second room. There’s no ice machine just a communal igloo cooler that is not stocked with ice as often as it should.
It was okay. Just nothing like the pictures.
5.0It wasn’t terrible place. It was clean.
− There wasn’t any ac. It also looks nothing like the pictures online. The staff was nice, but it was a lot smaller than the photos. It also had very itchy sheets. And half the lights didn’t work.
Overall our stay was fine and I would stay there again.
7.0Classic old cabin style hotel with restaurant and bar.
− Carpet is from the 70s. The mattress was seriously old and bowed. We ordered peach cobbler from the restaurant and received peach filling without the crust. And I guess to make up they added a piece of pumpkin bread, burnt around the edges.
Great stay, clean no frills room.
