Weekend getaway
6.0The service was top notch. We were treated like VIPs. Breakfast was very delicious 😋 we really enjoyed our stay
− Can't complain
Ultimate place to be @ in Mohale 's Hoek
10.0The garden is amazing and very welcoming. The room I was in was clean, spotless. The was too comfortable... It's a great place
− I wish we could have parking closer to the room, but it wasn't a spoiler. Just that when you need something, especially when cold, it could be a mission
Beautiful and enjoyable
8.0The hospitality of staff, balcony and swimming pool. Breakfast was also very good and exceeded expectations. The cleaning of our rooms was also good and enjoed the freshness of our rooms each day.
− There was a kiddies party the whole saturday at the swimming pool area therefore as hotel guests we could not use the facility and ended up staying in our rooms when we came back in the afternoon. The location of the hotel which i knowmay not change ..we got ost as when we saw all those zinc dwellings we thought we were out of town and into some informal settlement when coming up the main road before turning into the hotel street, even there by the hotel street there were lots of those inbformal traders zinc shoppings which is a sight for sore eyes, it really removes the natural beauty of the area as the hotel balcony was meant for that.
Champions of hospitality
10.0“Champions of hospitality!” My recent stay at Hotel Mount Maluti was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was met with genuine warmth and professionalism from the staff, who made me feel truly valued and at home. The food was outstanding—delicious, well-prepared, and clearly crafted with care. Every interaction reflected a high standard of service, delivered with friendliness and attention to detail. What stood out most was the consistency: great service, welcoming people, and an overall atmosphere that made the experience memorable. It’s rare to find a place that gets all the little things right. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and a truly heartwarming stay.

Tired rooms but friendly and helpful staff nake it great
6.0The hotel is old and tired but comfortable, friendly staff. Special mention to Rea at the front desk who literally went out of her way to get a fridge and microwave, which was not in the executive room kitchen as described. Mamahato in the kitchen who assisted with heating our food. Both of you went above and beyond. .
− Almost all of the staff were great except some weren't as helpful. The kitchen in the executive room has a stove that doesn't work. Initially, the room didn't have a fridge nor microwave, but this was sorted. Room cupboards, carpets, and decor have seen better days but liveable. Nerded an extra bed but was not able to get one. The impression I get is that this is a very busy establishment, as there are few options I R.O accommodation in the area. Therefore, there is little incentive to update, repair & maintain things like bubbling rusted door frames, worn-out carpets , etc.
